    The following Items can be purchased at BJ’s and the Shrimp can be purchased from Aldi’s.

    *** Warning***

    I have tried BJ’s brand shrimp in the past; however, the dish did not come out the same, it was too watery. BJ’s shrimp seems to have more water. As mentioned in the video you want to remove as much water from the shrimp as possible prior to cooking them. If not your shrimp will not brown nor will it have a fried texture. Instead your shrimp will appear to have boiled instead, which you definitely do not want.

    Instead I use Aldi’s brand shrimp they come out perfect every time. If you do not have an Aldi’s near you I would suggest that you 1. find medium sized shrimp, smaller size shrimp seem to contain more water. 2. Make sure after you remove the shell and wash them. Then place them on something like a bed of paper towels and let them sit for ½ hour to ensure most of the water is removed.

    Ingredients:
    1 stick of butter salted or unsalted
    1 tbsp. Lemon
    1tbsp. Capers
    2 tbsp. Juice from Capers
    ½ to 1 tbsp. of red pepper flakes (depends on how spicy you like things)—This is necessary
    1 cup of fresh or dried parsley
    2 tbsp. spoons of oil
    ½ tsp. Salt
    ¼ tsp of pepper
    1cup of Mayo
    4 (whole garlic cloves) or
    Butter Sauce from pan

    Instructions:
    Wash shrimp place on paper towel to drain as much water as possible
    In frying pan heat 2 tbsp. of oil (very hot)
    Brown garlic if using fresh garlic or add granulated garlic to season oil
    Place shrimp flat in pan brown both sides of shrimp evenly 1-2 minutes
    Add 1 tbsp. of butter in pan until it melts and coats the bottom of pan
    Add 1 tbsp. Lemon and stir in
    Add the remainder of the butter continue to stir
    Add capers and juice and continue to stir
    ½ of the red pepper flakes (safe the rest for when you combine all ingredients in bowl) continue stirring
    Add ½ of the parsley to pan stir into shrimp
    Remove pan from heat
    Remove shrimp from pan and place on a cutting board
    Cut shrimp into small pieces and place in bowl with tuna
    Add Mayo, remaining red pepper flakes, parsley and garlic butter sauce to bowl and incorporate

    You’re Done!!! It’s super simple and an indulging delight to your taste buds.
