  • This is a attempt to see if I could somehow convert a Clam chowder receipt we have been using for years into something I might be able to take to the trail. it turned out well but unless I can find some clams in a pouch I don’t think the weight of the can is worth it. It was great for lunch though. LOL!

This is my Tuna Can Stirling Engine with a few improvements. It now has high temperature silicon sealant instead of epoxy at the top plate and can joint. A displacer shaft bushing was also added. I show it here with a large aluminum heat sink on the top plate to help maintain the temperature differential and keep the engine from over heating. A piece of ice helps also. This is a good learning tool and has helped towards my ultimate goal of building the LTD (low temperature differential) stirling engine–one that will run off a cup of hot water.

Product variety is complete, good quality and inexpensive, the delivery is fast and transport is security, very good, we are happy to cooperate with a reputable company!
